ReplyDeleteWas the photo of Constitution Hill taken pre-descent or post ascent? Some of our British roads are transformed by sunshine aren't they and look truly exotic?
ReplyDeleteAfter the ascent. Once my knees had stopped shaking. Those were among the most sharply lactic-acidic couple of minutes of my life. I didn't dare descend. But it was gorgeous at the top.
